In case of car accident or other emergency, please contact national emergency number 112.

Our cars always come with a full tank, and they should always be returned full.

Only the 4x4 vehicles are allowed on the F-roads. 

2WD vehicles are not allowed on the F-roads, road 35 and road 550.

None of our cars are allowed to cross rivers. Damage resulting from river crossing is not covered by any insurance package.

Yes, all of our cars are using winter studded tires during winter season (from October until April).

Yes, every car comes with a fuel discount keychains for most popular gas stations in Iceland.

Payment, booking & costs

Payment and booking

We accept payments via PayPal. You can place 20% deposit online and pay the remaining balance on the pickup day, or you can fully pay online without worrying about the exchange rate in the future.

You can cancel your booking up to 24hours from the pickup time with a full refund.

  • We charge 10€ service fee on top of the parking tickets, tunnel tickets and fines. 
  • 20€ service fee is charged for returning the car less than full, in addition to the fuel missing.
  • 300€ fine is charged for smoking in the vehicle

Yes, we charge a deposit in a size of the liability (depending on the insurance option), since credit card is not required.

No, credit card is not required to book a car with us.

Travelling

It's always good to carry some cash with you just in case, however, every shop and restaurant in Iceland accepts debit & credit cards.

If you're planning to visit the ring road around Iceland, it's recommended to stay for at least 8-10 days. Weather in Iceland is unpredictable and can often affect your activities and plans.
